About the Visa Scholarship Programme

We have created the Visa Scholarship Programme, in partnership with the Windsor Fellowship, as part of our ongoing commitment to this belief.

​The programme is designed to support students from under-represented and socially disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their full potential. This opportunity is open to eligible students who are applying or intending to enrol as a full-time undergraduate in any accredited university in the UK. You’ll receive a scholarship of up to £9535 per year to pay your tuition fees and an ongoing programme of support throughout your academic study.

​You will also have the opportunity to connect with experienced Visa employees through our scholar coaching/ mentoring programmes.

The Programmme

  • Windsor Fellowship support
    As a partner with Visa, we will provide you with pastoral and interview support from the point of application.
  • Financial support
    You’ll receive support for your course fees, up to a value of £9535 per year, up to four years, in tuition scholarships.
  • Skills building
    Grow key technical, professional and leadership skills through training and development opportunities.
  • Career development
    Gain exposure to career growth activities to help prepare for post-graduation careers.
  • Work Experience
    During the summer there will be options to get work experience and engage with Visa, including the opportunity to apply for a paid internship where you can learn new skills, collaborate and find a community of like-minded students.

​Who can apply?

All the following must apply to be eligible for consideration:​

  • Applied to study an undergraduate degree in a STEM related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or Maths) or Business (e.g.,HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, International Business, or related majors).
  • Applied to UCAS to enrol on a full-time three or four undergraduate degree at any accredited university in the UK for 2025-2026 entry.
  • From a Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic background.
  • Eligible to work and study in the UK and qualify under ‘Home Fee’ status.
  • Demonstrate a financial need (combined household income of less than £50k per year).
  • Be in receipt of, or have previously received or have been eligible for, free school meals, pupil premium, education maintenance allowance and/or 16 to 19 bursaries.
  • This will be your first degree

​How to Apply

We recommend all candidates carefully read the Visa Scholarship FAQ 2025-26 document before you start the application form.

Incomplete and ineligible applications will not be processed.

Stage 1 – Complete the online application form with the financial information form and an online Assessment Test together with your application form.

Stage 2 – Successful candidates will be invited to attend a virtual Assessment Centre with the Windsor Fellowship consisting of a presentation and interview.

Stage 3 – Final stage virtual interview with the Visa team

Stage 4 – Visa to select and inform successful Scholars.
