Diabetes UK Summer Internship Programme

Windsor Fellowship is working in partnership with Diabetes UK to run a 6-week internship programme, starting in 2025, for students who are currently registered on a science undergraduate or Masters degree in the UK who are in their penultimate or final year of the course. This opportunity is also open to recent science graduates who would like to pursue scientific research in diabetes.

Graduate Destination STEM Pilot Programme (Sept 2024 – Jan 2025)

The Windsor Fellowship is working in partnership with STEM professionals to deliver the Graduate Destination STEM Pilot Programme aimed at addressing inequality in STEM.

The House of Lords Administration’s Ethnic Minority Internship Programme

The House of Lords Administration has partnered with the Windsor Fellowship to run its pilot Ethnic Minority Internship Programme, offering four individuals a paid internship.

Syncona Internship

Syncona in partnership with the Windsor Fellowship are offering an opportunity for a six month internship programme for life sciences doctoral graduates

Greenpeace Internships

The Windsor Fellowship, in partnership with Greenpeace are offering full time six month paid internships in a range of areas within the organisation.

ELSEVIER – Rising Tide Internships 2024

Elsevier, a global information analytics force, propels healthcare and open science, aiding researchers in discoveries. With solutions like ScienceDirect and Scopus, they optimise research and education. Publishing over 2,500 journals, Elsevier invites diverse contributions to their impactful mission.

The Windsor Fellowship is partnering with the Royal Academy of Engineering to deliver GEEP; aimed at addressing inequality in engineering.

Leadership Programme fellow

The Windsor Fellowship has been pivotal in my professional and personal development. I undertook a placement at the House of Commons which enabled me to gain practical experience in a field related to my degree. This has consequently led me to a career in the Civil Service. The one-to-one mentoring support provided much-needed pastoral and professional support allowing me to navigate the challenges of transitioning from University to the workplace. The seminars and residentials were pivotal in developing my collaboration, critical thinking and practical skills. Since completing my placement, I have undertaken several roles within the Civil Service and currently leading a trade team within the Department for Business and Trade.

I came out of the LPU programme with a better idea of the career I wanted and some concrete milestones to help me along that path. After the LPU programme, I completed a Masters in International Relations at the College of Europe (Bruges), interned at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (London/Cairo), interned at the European Commission (Brussels), completed the Legal Practice Course (London) and completed a training contract at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. On completing my training, I qualified as a Solicitor. I now work for Fieldfisher LLP, where I specialise in dispute resolution.
