Destination STEMM – Mathematics & Statistics

The Windsor Fellowship is working in partnership with University College of London to deliver Destination STEMM – Mathematics & Statistics.

A blended mentoring/tutoring two-year programme for level three (A-Level or equivalent) students who live or school in Greater London who are currently in Year 12, planning to study A-level or equivalent in Mathematics/Statistics subjects and considering continuing into Higher Education with a STEMM degree subject.

About University College London

​The Department of Statistical Science has played a major role in the development of the subject ever since its foundation in 1911 as the Department of Applied Statistics.

Commit to the mentoring programme agreement which consists of:

  • Attend Parents Introductory Session

​​Who can apply?

  • We encourage female applications
  • Resident and/or studying in Greater London
  • Currently in Year 12, planning to study A level or equivalent Mathematics/Statistics
  • Planning to continue into Higher Education to study a STEMM related degree subject.

 

Commitment – Your responsibilities

Commit to the mentoring programme agreement which consists of:

  • Attend Student Introductory Session
  • Attend 8 workshops over the two-year long Programme
  • Regularly communicate with and meet your allocated UCL Mentor
  • Contribute to the promotion of STEMM subjects in your school and local community
  • Participate in an ongoing evaluation of the Programme
