Parents and Guardians
We are pleased to now be able to offer a Programme for Lambeth Young People. The Programme aims to promote engagement or re-engagement with learning for students who reside in the London Borough of Lambeth. The Programme, which is free of cost to both school, parent/guardian and student, is offered to students who have commenced Year 10 in September 2015 and is for a period of two years.
The Programme
The aim of the Programme is to complement the students' school experience such that their intellectual and social capabilities are enhanced, and they are empowered to make choices about the direction of their lives following completion of examinations.
Over a two-year period, through vibrant monthly Workshops, students shall take part in a co-ordinated range of activities. Students are supported by programme leaders and friendly student helpers in small groups.
Ongoing feedback and monitoring from parents and schools will help to ensure a strong partnership way of working which is a central theme of the programme. The partnership approach helps maximise the success of the programme for everyone.
