The Cisco Scholarship 

 

The Windsor Fellowship is working with University College London (UCL) to offer scholarships funded by Cisco for students currently holding either conditional or unconditional offers for the following courses:

  • MSc Computational Statistics and Machine Learning

  • MSc Machine Learning

  • MSc Robotics and Computation

  • MSc Data Science and Machine Learning

  • MSc Computer Graphics, Vision and Imaging

  • MSc Information Security


The Cisco Scholarships are positive action initiatives to help UCL ensure that it can attract and support students from all sections of the community, particularly those groups that are under-represented in post-graduate studies. 

Cisco Scholarships are worth £20,000 and can be used to cover tuition fees and living costs.  They are available for course offer holders who are from the following three under-represented groups within Computer Science:​​

  1.  Students of an African or Caribbean heritage

  2.  Students from homes with an annual income of less than £25,000

  3.  Women 

 

​ Cisco Scholarships are open to both Home (UK) and EU students, irrespective of fee status , although the amount available is   the same for all successful applicants. 

Next Steps and How to Apply

Awardees will be selected by a panel from Windsor Fellowship and UCL the on the basis of:

 

  • Holding a ‘conditional or unconditional offer for the eligible courses;

  • Academic attainment – as demonstrated by prior results;

  • Financial need – based on socio-economic background.
