A unique chance for you to experience what it's like to work for one of the UK's most successful companies..
Tesco are currently recruiting for places on their Management Development Programme for 2010.  The programme is open to 2nd year undergraduates from an Asian, Black or minority ethnic background, with unlimited rights to live and work in the UK.  Successful applicants will have a unique opportunity to work alongside some of Tesco’s most talented specialists and managers and experience what makes Tesco successful.

In addition to a paid internship, dedicated training and mentoring, successful completion of the MDP will pass you through the first two stages of the selection process for the Tesco Graduate Schemes in Autumn 2010.  Being one of the top graduate employers in the UK, competition for places on these Schemes is high.

Here’s what some of last year’s participants had to say:

"What really surprised me about Tesco is how diverse and varied the departments and roles were"
-Phillip Ly, Corporate Affairs Intern 2009

"What surprised me about this internship was the level of responsibility given to me from day one. I learnt a great deal from the whole experience and now look at Tesco as more than just a supermarket"
-Jemma Depala, Metro Operations Intern 2009

“My internship at Tesco was more than I could have expected – All the staff were particularly helpful and friendly, and I gained a larger insight into the workings of a multi-national corporation than I could ever have imagined.  I was given some real responsibility and was allowed to really manage my time and workload by myself, but all the while knowing that I was being supported and guided by my Manager”
-Aadersh Patel, IT Intern 2009
